Fred L. Potter, Managing Member
Fred is the founding director of the New Hampshire and Washington Vaccine Associations. He has led vaccine funding initiatives in a number of other states across the nation. More about Fred and his professional background is available here.
Julia G. Zell, Executive Director
Julia earned a B.A. in Political Science from Furman University, an M.A. in Law and Public Policy, and a J.D., both from Regent University. She is an attorney licensed in Virginia, and has recently completed a one-year federal clerkship in the Eastern District of Virginia. Prior to graduate school, she worked in sales at UPS and provided logistical consulting services to small businesses. Julia is the Northwest Region CEO for KidsVax®.
Claire M. Roberge, Controller
Claire earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Rivier College and an MBA from New Hampshire College. She is Chief Operating Officer for KidsVax.org® in Concord, New Hampshire. She is Controller for the Washington Vaccine Association, the New Hampshire Vaccine Association, and the Maine Vaccine Board. She is also Treasurer of other small non-profit organizations in New Hampshire.
Heather A. Veen, Sr. Executive Assistant, Paralegal
Heather holds an A.A. in Legal Assistant studies from Shasta College in California. She has extensive legal assistant experience working with state, federal, and supreme courts in various aspects of law. She was a Board member of the Oak Run Union School District Board of Trustees, and was Vice President of the Redding Legal Professionals Association in California. Heather and her husband recently moved to the Lakes Region in New Hampshire from Northern California.
Peter M. Smith, Financial Analyst
Peter earned a B. S. in Business Management from Oral Roberts University and MBA with concentration in Finance from Regent University. He is a licensed CPA (VA) and currently resides in Ontario, Canada. He has a strong background in technology solutions for finance and accounting and currently serves as Controller and CIO for a nationwide professional organization.
A number of other professionals support the AVAP. Their work is primarily in technical areas such as information technology, design, writing, and provider & payer support.
